Itinerary

Day 1
Cusco – The Sacred Valley of the Incas with Pisac and Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide of Andean View Travel will pick you up from your hotel lobby between 7:30 to 7:45am in our transport and drive you from Cusco through the mountains to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Relax and take in the spectacular views along the drive.
You will visit the archaeological site around Pisac and the picturesque Pisac market, and maybe buy some souvenirs. This is the shopping paradise of the valley, where bartering is still practiced.
Then continue to Pisac’s Incan ruins, which lie atop a hill with stunning views over the valley, enjoy the unique atmosphere and then in way take a break for lunch in a local restaurant in Urubamba where you can enjoy a buffet lunch (own expense) before continuing on to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will visit this amazing Inca site, which is an area of important Inca constructions, built during the Incan times, the fortress was built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes of the jungle.
Later, board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). On arrival, at the train station, you will be welcomed by the hotel staff and the Andean View Travel guide who will assist, take you to your 3-star the hotel and instructions for the visit to Machupicchu the next day.

Day 2
Machu Picchu guided tour - Cusco return.

After a restful night’s sleep and the breakfast, our Andean View Travel guide pick up and transfer to the bus station to go up to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, board a bus and take a short ride up to the main entrance gate of Machupicchu declared a Natural and Cultural Heritage to Humanity, the best example of Incan architecture.
You will exploring one of the New Seven Wonders of the World accompanied with our professional Andean View Travel tour guide, visiting some of the main sectors such as the agricultural sector (terraces or platforms), the warehouse sector or food deposits, the guardian’s house, the stone quarry, the sacred square, the temple of the three windows, the temple of the sun, the sector of the wayranas, the temple of the condor, sector of the water sources, and other.
Once the guided tour is over, you will have extra free time to explore the marvelous of Machupicchu on your own.
After the visit of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, you have option to be able to put a stamp of Machu Picchu in your passports.

After you end up your visit, board the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where we have time lunch (not Included), and enjoy some extra time at the town to get some local souvenirs and then board the train back to Ollantaytambo train station where our staff will be waiting for you and transferred in our private transport back to your Cusco hotel.
